Spring 2020 Sephora Sale

The Sephora Spring Sale is ending this weekend and I wanted to get together my top 5 must have items. Normally, I use this sale to stock up on things that I love, might be running low on, or just items that have caught my eye that I have wanted to try. You will see more than one Fenty product on here because, honestly, I stan and the products I'm going to mention are great! Now let’s get started!

1. Fenty Bronzer

First, let’s start with the fact that most bronzers from other brands are not brown girl friendly and don't acknowledge that we (brown girls) come in multiple shades with multiple undertones. Fenty's bronzers are so pretty and apply to skin so well. If you want that sun-kissed look like you just went on vacation or if you want that super chiseled, contoured look pick up one of these bronzers. I have 3 of the 8 shades but my go to everyday bronzer shade is Carmel Cutie.

2. Huda Beauty Easy Bake Setting Powder
Pores? Where??? This powder is stunning. I know people rave about the Laura Mercier translucent powder, and it is wonderful, but once I tried this one it was over. This setting powder makes skin look airbrushed and the fact that it comes in multiple shades is a plus. The only downside to this powder is the scent, but that can be said of all Huda products. If you have been looking for a new powder to try that doesn't leave you cakey and helps suppress oils, try this one you won't be disappointed. I wear the shade Blondie for reference.

3. Fenty Beauty Glossy Posse Mini Gloss Bomb Set
Originally, I was only going to speak about one shade of the lip-glosses, but I saw this set from holiday is still in stock and had to put this here instead. If you know you know. These glosses are the some of the best on the market. If you love the juicy, wet look of a gloss then you need to try these. They are comfortable, smell amazing, and look even better. I wear these with and without lipsticks or liners underneath and they are beautiful either way. This set is perfect because you get the best of both worlds and they are so easy to just throw in your purse and call it a day.

4. Charlotte Tilsbury- Hollywood Flawless Filter
Unpopular opinion: I am so over super bright and blinding highlights. I have texture on my face and highlights like that accentuate it, and that’s not something I like. I love to have a natural glow; something very minimal but is that glow from within. This Hollywood flawless filter can be mixed with your foundation, used as a highlight, or even a primer (that makes me nervous, but do you). This product isn't glittery, it is tinted for your complexion to provide that natural effortless shine. This is the perfect everyday sheen that looks so nice for those days when you have minimal makeup and also looks amazing on super glam days.

5. Amika Soulfood Nourishing Mask
I couldn't forget a hair mask on this list, since I am an avid deep conditioner. Every week for 30-40 min I deep condition my hair. Now, I do like to switch it up and I try not to use the same one every week because they all have different purposes. Originally, the Briogeo Don't Despair deep conditioner was on this list because it’s phenomenal, but it sold out, so I wanted to replace it with another one I am loving. The Amika Soulfood Nourishing mask is such a great product if you are struggling with dry or damaged hair. It is just as good as it says in the name; super nourishing and feels like you are putting goodness back into your hair. I am a curly girl, and this is essential in my rotations of hair mask.
