December means two things to me: Christmas, and Christmas Movies. I love the corny Christmas movies on Hallmark and Netflix and I love all the decorations – especially the ones with glitter. This time of the year is my favorite because it means I get to spend time with my family, enjoy all the movies that most people think are only acceptable to watch during the month of December, and all the holiday fashion. Plus, Christmas in Chicago is my second favorite time of the year. If you have ever visited Chicago in the winter, you know how it is absolutely beautiful. There’s always something going on like a Christmas pop-up-bar or going to the Walnut Room just to have dinner next to the Christmas tree. Even walking down Michigan Ave and looking at all the decorations is fun. Yes, it is cold, but it is a must-see spectacle. I call the month of December “sequin season” (even though I don’t have any sequins to show to you…yet). It’s the perfect time to show out in your beautiful holiday dresses. 

Red is the color of the season and I am a firm believer that it’s a color in which everyone looks great. What’s better than finding a red dress for your next holiday party? A red dress on sale for you to wear to a holiday party! We spend so much of this month shopping for our friends and family that if you can find something on sale then you need to snatch it up real quick. Most of the clothes on ASOS that I love this time of year always sell out quickly, but there is one dress that I have had my eye on for a while but haven't had anywhere to wear the dress. I can't be the only person that constantly scrolls through the 100’s of items on ASOS falling in love with too many of them, only to have no idea where they are actually going to be wearing a lot those items, right? I had a wedding earlier this season at a Christmas tree farm, so what better excuse to wear a red dress that would remind you of Christmas a couple months early. I personally don’t see anything wrong with this except for the fact that on this wedding day it was 80 degrees and I was burning up because I thought it was a great idea to wear 3/4 length sleeves. But the holiday spirit kind of took over. I tried to find something else to wear but I couldn't help coming back to this red dress. It’s such a cute dress with these adorable pleats and black lace applique. That was the perfect touch. Besides the Christmas “WOW” power of this dress the fact that it’s on sale should be the biggest selling point.
