Lane Bryant X Girl With Curves

I never thought there would be an Influencer collaboration that featured clothes my plus size friends and I could wear. I’m not quite sure why I didn't think this was a possibility because for someone who spends way too much time on youtube watching makeup videos, makeup collaborations were the only thing I ever thought about until now. As a plus size woman we are looked over quite often and it’s a shame, but I never thought that a brand would work with a plus size influencer on this type of collaboration.

Girl With Curves collection with Lane Bryant was something I didn’t realize I needed until I saw it. It’s cute and girly and has such a variety of pieces that my friends and I can wear different things and both look amazing. As soon as this collab was announced my blogger friend Kimberly and I immediately messaged each other about what we were going to buy. The nice thing about this collaboration is that there is something for everyone. Sweaters, skirts, dresses, sweatshirts, t-shirts. Tanesha (Girl With Curves) tried to makes pieces for everyone no matter what your style is there is a piece in her collection for you.

I was immediately drawn to the dresses because they make me feel cute and confident; and I can't say no to a cheetah print dress. The pattern of this dress did come in a skirt, but I knew I wanted to be able to wear this multiple ways - so I bought the dress and the sweatshirt. The cut and style of this dress is so feminine, and I love it. The collar and the pleats on the bottom of the skirt dress it up so I can wear it to work with a pair of heels or boots. I love the simpleness of the sweatshirt so I can wear it with jeans to run errands, go shopping, or out to lunch with my friends. This sweatshirt is also great paired over the dress to make it a little more casual with some sneakers.

This collection meant a lot to me because you don't see a lot of plus size bloggers given the chance to style and design clothing meant for them. It shows how much representation matters and seeing someone that is plus size work with a major retailer on this shows the strides that are happening in this field. I couldn't ask for more. Fingers Crossed we will get another collaboration!
