I can’t be the only person that buys something because a blogger made me do it. For me this happens a lot with YouTube. I watch a video and I feel like I need to buy something being featured - especially if it’s Jaclyn Hill. If she does a collab with a brand, you can pretty much guarantee that I’m going to be buying it. I buy almost everything that she puts her name on. That’s the point though. For her to use her platform to tell us to buy products. That’s why companies want to work with influencers and bloggers, because they build up loyalty with their audience.

Well, I was invited to a Loft Plus POP Up Party a couple weeks ago and had so much fun. I was able to meet up with other Chicago bloggers and do some shopping while helping to promote some great products. The event was hosted by blogger Hayet Rida. I have been following her for the last couple of years and she’s so funny and has such great style. She recommended some clothes to me and one of the pieces was this yellow wrap dress. I am normally not a wrap dress fan, because sometimes they show to much “Cleveland”, or sometimes the strings to the wrap are just a little off for me. This dress though I loved from the minute I tried it on. I originally grabbed my normal size because I can typically size down in a wrap, but because of the Cleveland situation and the length, I ended up going up a size to fit me better. The yellow color of this dress is stunning and it pops in contrast with my skin. I knew if they had the next size up I was walking out the store with that dress. I walked out of the dressing room and Hayet came up to me and asked "did you like it?" I told her that I loved it and that she made me buy it. I didn’t think that I would be buying this dress, and if she didn’t mention it then I wouldn’t have even tried it on. This dress is already a staple for me and I wish that Loft would come up with more items in this color or other similar bold colors. This isn’t the first thing that Hayet made me buy, but it’s my current favorite. If you haven’t checked out Loft's plus size section you should really give it try. You won’t be disappointed.
